Sports Camps 2026

The Sheriff Joe Baron Foundation Sports Camps are coming up in June.

Registration begins on April 6.

General Information:

The 2026 Sheriff Joe Baron Foundation Sports Camps will take place on four separate dates in June 2026. The Soccer Camp will be held Monday, June 15, the Basketball Camp will be held June 16, the Baseball Camp will be held on June 17, and the Football Camp will be held on June 18. The camps are free for residents of Norfolk. Participants will be provided with a camp shirt and lunch. Campers MUST be between the ages of 8 and 12.

Soccer Camp

ODU Soccer Complex
1528 W. 43rd. Street
Norfolk, Virginia

9 a.m to 2 p.m.

Basketball Camp

Location: TBD

 

9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Baseball Camp

NSU - Marty L. Miller Field
700 Park Avenue
Norfolk, Virginia

9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Football Camp

ODU - S. B. Ballard Stadium
4904 Bluestone Ave.
Norfolk, Virginia

8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Staff:

Volunteers for camp consist of Norfolk Sheriff’s Office employees and student athletes.  The entire staff of volunteers will be working under the direction of the Norfolk Sheriff’s Office Community Affairs Division. All volunteers are screened by the Norfolk Sheriff’s Office.

Transportation:

Parents/guardians will be responsible for arranging transportation for their children to and from the Sports Camp locations.
