Microcomputer System Analyst

The Norfolk Sheriff’s Office is seeking a Microcomputer Systems Analyst who will help develop, test, and maintain hardware & software to meet the requirements of the Norfolk Sheriff’s Office. The incumbent will assist staff with providing standards, instruction, and procedures involving the Information Technology department while providing Help Desk support for computer hardware and software issues.

Network Engineer

The Norfolk Sheriff’s Office is seeking a Network Engineer who will help develop, test and maintain software to meet the requirements of the Norfolk Sheriff’s Office.  The incumbent will be responsible for reviewing, designing, engineering, and administering security functions and tools throughout for life cycle, supporting security risk assessments, conducting vulnerability scans, and implementing remediation activities for the Department’s supervisory control and data acquisition systems.  The position monitors for intrusion, suspicious activity, and security violations as it relates to data and network security of supervisory control and data acquisition systems and coordinates cyber security matters with information Technology Department.  The incumbent will be responsible for the entire inmate lab network infrastructure and will be tasked to provide tier 1 support as needed.
