Internship Opportunities for College Students
If you're a college student doing coursework in any of several fields associated with the work of, or services provided within the NSO, we'd like to offer you the opportunity to learn first hand about what we do and how we operate.
NSO wants you!
If you meet our requirements, we'd like to offer you a great opportunity to serve an internship with NSO.
Applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, in a program which offers course credit for internships.
Applicants should have completed introductory course work in criminal justice, criminology, corrections, psychology, sociology, social work or related field.
Applicants must have a clear criminal record.
As an intern, you will have an individualized learning experience that will contribute to your education and future development. You will have an opportunity for hands-on learning about how the Norfolk City Jail and criminal justice system works.
If you have any further questions, please feel to call Mrs. Sam Coleman at 757-664-4107.
