a trunk full of 'fixings'More than two-dozen employees with The Norfolk Sheriff’s Office helped distributed Thanksgiving baskets to members of the community on Thursday, November 15th.

The crew met early in the morning to bag and sort hundreds of goods, amounting to 100 bags of ‘fixins’ and 100 turkeys!

They brought those donations to private citizens, non-profits, and area churches.

The Norfolk Sheriff’s Office is committed to Public Service, and that means helping those out in our community.

We’re honored to play a small part in helping make the Thanksgiving holiday a happy one for our residents.

Our Community Affairs deputies and civilians work for months to plan and organize all of the donations, and we couldn’t do it without them!

We also thank our employees for their many food donations, as well as our friends at Port Alliance Federal Credit Union, Keene Reality, and our chaplain Terry Haddock for all of their help making this annual event a success!
