norfolk courthouseIMPORTANT: due to the COVID-19 pandemic, public access to the consolidated court buildings is being restricted.

Do not enter the building if you have, within the past 14 days:

i. traveled internationally;

ii. been directed to quarantine, isolate, or self-monitor;

ili. been diagnosed with, or have had contact with anyone who has been diagnosed with, COVID-19;

iv. experienced a fever, cough, or shortness of breath; or

v. resided with or been in close contact with any person in the above-
mentioned categories.

INDIVIDUALS ATTEMPTING TO ENTER THE COURT IN VIOLATION OF THESE PROTOCOLS SHALL BE DENIED ENTERANCE BY A BAILIFF OR COURT SECURITY OFFICER, AND WILL BE DIRECTED TO CONTACT THE CLERK’S OFFICE BY TELEPHONE OR OTHER REMOTE MEANS TO INFORM THE CLERK OF THEIR BUESINESS BEFORE THE COURT SO AS TO RECEIVE FURTHER INSTRUCITON REGARDING ALTERNATE ARRANGEMENTS FOR COURT ACCESS

* Adult criminal cases (bond hearing and arraignments only) in which the defendant is being held in jail
